This website contains the documentation of the course "Web Development". This course is taught to all 2nd year students of the IT Factory (bachelors in Applied Computer Science and Electronics-ICT) @ Thomas More Kempen.
The focus of this course is on developing web applications using Laravel, a robust PHP framework. Alongside Laravel, we will explore the other components of the TALL stack, including Alpine.js for front-end interactivity, TailwindCSS for styling, and Livewire for building dynamic interfaces without JavaScript. Additionally, the course provides a brief introduction to PHP, focusing on the essentials needed for working effectively with Laravel.
Students following this course should have adequate knowledge of webdesign (HTML5, CSS3, Sass, JavaScript) and object-oriented programming.
